Who may be listed
A listing should have a meaningful and explainable connection to Canada, such as Canadian ownership, founding, headquarters, operations, production or service. The specific connection must be stated rather than implied through a generic maple-leaf label.
Minimum profile information
- Public business name and concise description
- Relevant location or service area
- Website or other reliable public contact channel
- Products or services offered
- The available basis for any Canadian-status claims
- A route to request corrections or claim the profile
Free, featured and paid profiles
Basic profiles may be created without permission when based on lawful public information. Businesses can claim and update them through editorial review. Paid plans may add presentation features and promotional exposure; they do not purchase factual verification or immunity from corrections.
Reasons a listing may be refused or removed
Wholly Canada may decline or remove profiles involving impersonation, unlawful activity, deceptive claims, malware, persistent spam, nonexistent businesses, insufficient Canadian connection, or material information that cannot be responsibly presented. A listing may also be archived when a company closes.
Business responsibilities
Representatives must have authority to submit changes and must provide truthful, current information. Submitting content grants Wholly Canada permission to review, edit and publish it under the applicable Terms of Use. Profiles remain subject to independent editorial decisions.
