When a reader follows certain tracked links and completes a qualifying purchase, Wholly Canada may receive a commission from the seller or affiliate network. The reader’s price is generally not increased because of that commission.
How affiliate content is identified
Articles containing affiliate links display a disclosure near the beginning or before the relevant recommendations. Individual links may also use labels or technical attributes identifying their commercial nature.

- Guaranteed inclusion in a buying guide
- The removal of accurate criticism
- A claim that a product is Canadian-made without evidence
How products are selected
Selections should follow the methodology disclosed in the guide. Availability of an affiliate relationship may be considered when providing a convenient buying link, but it should not be presented as proof that an option is the best choice. When no affiliate relationship exists, Wholly Canada may still link to useful businesses and products.
