Our accessibility goal
Wholly Canada aims to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical design target while meeting applicable Canadian and Ontario requirements. Ontario requirements for covered organizations refer to WCAG 2.0 Level AA, subject to specified exceptions. Stating a target is not the same as claiming every page is fully conformant.
Measures built into the platform
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus states
- Semantic headings, landmarks and descriptive labels
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes
- Colour contrast designed for readable text and controls
- Alternative text support for meaningful images
- Skip links, accessible form labels and status messages
- Reduced reliance on colour alone to communicate meaning
Known limitations
Older imported business information, third-party websites, embedded services, user-submitted documents and incomplete image descriptions may not meet the same standard. We prioritize barriers that prevent access to essential directory, contact, claim and correction functions.
Request assistance or report a barrier
Tell us the page URL, the barrier encountered, your browser or assistive technology if comfortable sharing it, and the format or assistance that would help. Use our contact form and select “Accessibility feedback.” We will acknowledge feedback and work toward a reasonable response.
